Here are upcoming screening dates for 2010:
Tuesday, Feb 16th. 7PM -Harvard University, Science Center, Room A. Q&A with Director Chris Taylor, organic farmer Thetis Sammons, and “Slow Money” founder Woody Tasch.
Wednesday, Feb 17th. 5:30pm Bridgewater State College, Heritage Room in the Maxwell Library, 10 Shaw Rd., Bridgewater, MA. This event is open to students, faculty, and staff of the College, and their guests. Q&A to follow.
Thursday, Feb 18th. 4:30pm Amherst College, Pruyne Room in Fayerweather Hall. Open to the Public-Q&A to follow.
Friday, Feb 19th. Green Mountain College, Poultney, VT. 5:30 Locavore Pot Luck Dinner, 7pm Screening. Q&A to follow.

PAST SCREENINGS:

Sept 9th: 7:30pm at the Cocteau Theatre in Santa Fe, New Mexico. FOOD FIGHT will kick off the opening night of the first ever Slow Money “From the Ground Up” National Conference at the Railroad Yards. http://www.slowmoneyalliance.org/national-gathering.html

This is going to be another first-ever conference with a great line-up of speakers and panelists. I will be there for the screening.

Sept.16th: 7:30pm Riverview Theatre Minneapolis-St. Paul. Sponsored by the Mid-Town Market, I will be at this screening with local farmers and chefs.

October 21st: 7pm in Oakland, CA with the Oakland Food Connection. This is a great date and is a benefit screening to support the OFC. Address is 4171 Macarthur Blvd., at Maybelle Ave.

November 2nd: Gilman School, Baltimore, MD

November 3rd: Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY. Two screenings: 2:30pm and 9:15pm

November 5th: Wilton Library, Wilton CT., 7:00pm, sponsored by the Jesse and Betsy Fink Foundation.

November 9th: University of Central Arkansas, 7:00pm McCastlain Ballroom

November 12th: Liberty Hall, 7pm, Lawrence, KS. With special guests.

November 13th: Johnson County Community College, 3pm, Overland Park, KS. With special guests.

November 14th: Asheville Film Festival, 3:30pm, Asheville Community Theatre

November 18th: Wesleyan University, 7:00pm. CFA Cinema

November 19th: Georgetown University, Washington, DC. 7:00pm with Special Guest Congressman Ron Kind (schedule allowing).

December 3rd/4th: Santa Fe Film Festival, Thursday, 6pm, DeAnza 2; Friday, 10:15am, Natural History Museum.

December 8th: University of Puget Sound, 5:30pm, 175 Thompson Hall.

    Hello,
    Occidental College in Los Angeles is very dedicated to issues surrounding food justice. We may want to show this film to our students this fall. Are there any places in the LA area where we could view it beforehand?
