What You Can Do:

Eat Less Meat. 1 Day a week, do not eat any meat. Avoid the center aisles of the supermarket. Only shop the periphery. Shop at a Farmer’s Market at least once a week. Get to know the farmers there. They are nice people. Pay Attention to Farm Issues by reading Tom Philpott on Grist.org. Join a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Check out Growing Power, Will Allen’s organization. Keep in contact with your political representatives on all food-related legislation.
